3. ROYAL SOCIETY OF VICTORIA ANNUAL RESEARCH MEDAL (PHYSICAL SCIENCES) Nominations for the 2012 Royal Society of Victoria Research Medal in the Physical Sciences are now open. Nominations close at 31st March 2012 (See the Medals and Awards Page)

4. THESE 150 YEAR OLD DOCUMENTS ARE ALSO SELLING FAST (THEY RELATE TO THE SOCIETY OF 1860 AND BURKE AND WILLS). The initial 40 of the "Limited Editon" Release boxed sets of Society Proceedings from 1858-1864 (Original 150 year old Volumes) have sold (only 80 are available). These original 150 year old volumes of the Society's Proceedings containing many of the reports and planning of the Victorian Exploration (Burke and Wills) Committee, are being released in a presentation boxed set. These historical records are presented in a leather look box, each set is numbered and a Certificate of Authenticity and Provenance is included.
