Burke and Wills 150 Anniversary Activities still to come: 1. The re-mastered (by the National Film and Sound Archive) Burke and Wills (1985) movie to be made into a DVD.
2. The book on “Burke and Wills: The Scientific Legacy” published with CSIRO Publishing is at the printer and should be launched in October or November 2011. Digitization of the Society's Proceedings Thanks to the grant from the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust and the support of the State Library of Victoria, we have digitized the Royal Society of Victoria Heritage Collection of Scientific Proceedings1854 - 2006 and we are awaiting for the State Library of Victoria to complete the search software to allow them to be accessed through their website.
