The Royal Society of Victoria Post Graduate Student Prizes in Biological, Physical and Earth Sciences

In 2006 The Royal Society of Victoria introduced three new Post Graduate Student Prizes to recognise excellence in research. In awarding this prize, The Society hopes to encourage post graduate student researchers in science and engineering, give them experience in presentation to an audience and help to foster their careers. To compete for the prize, post graduate students must be in their second to fourth year

The winners of The RSV 2007 Postgraduate Prize were :

Biological Sciences - Chelsea Stoikos, Monash University "BMP-2 and TGFB-1 Increase During Human Endometrial Stromal Cell Decidualization"

Physical Sciences - Alexandra Angelatos, The University of Melbourne "Light-Respnsive Polyeletrolyte/Gold Nanoparticle Microcapsules"
